9^th International Young Scientist Congress (IYSC-2026)

Under the aegis of Vishnu Waman Thakur Charitable Trust, Bhaskar Waman Thakur College of Science, Yashvant Keshav Patil College of Commerce, and Vidhya Dayanand Patil College of Arts, (VIVA College) established in yr. 2000 affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The Trust was founded with the objective of providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to students of Thane district, now Palghar district. Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Hitendra Vishnu Thakur, President of the Trust, the institution has grown into a leading educational hub for students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, committed to empowering them for a better future.

The College has a seven-storeyed, eco-friendly campus spread across 4 lakh sq. ft., equipped with modern infrastructure and a vibrant academic atmosphere. With an approximate student strength of 12,000, the institution offers 33 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and 27 certificate courses, supported by a dedicated team of 233 qualified and dynamic faculty members.

The College also houses VIVA Centre for Advanced Research and Development (VCARD), providing research opportunities and promoting innovation among students. Additionally, the institution has a Soil and Water Testing Laboratory, recognized by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra, which allows farmers to analyse soil and water quality to improve agricultural productivity.

The College has well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, and a conducive learning environment, the institution emphasises holistic development, value-based education, and social responsibility. VIVA College encourages students to contribute meaningfully to society and become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
